Map & Directions

Highland Glen Lodge peacefully sits high above Anchorage in the foothills of the Chugach Mountains.  The views are spectacular and we are no more than 15 minutes from any location in the Anchorage municipality.

From the Anchorage International Airport:  Take International Airport Road east to Minnesota Blvd.  Take the on-ramp to Minnesota going south (right-hand turn).  Minnesota will eventually curve to the left and you will be headed toward the mountains to the east.  Minnesota becomes known as O'Malley Road.  Continue straight up O'Malley Road past the Alaska Zoo on your left and many beautiful homes.  Turn right on Hillside Drive at the top of the hill.  We are 1/2 mile south on Hillside Drive.  The lodge in on the left and is well signed.  Our street number 11651 and our "Thistle" are clearly marked on the fence.  Park in a convenient spot and check in.

From north of Anchorage:  Arriving into Anchorage via the Glenn Highway, once you are past the municipal airport and well into town, you will turn left on Gamble (becomes the New Seward Highway).  Follow the New Seward Highway to the south to O'Malley Road .  Follow the rest of the directions above.

From south of Anchorage:  Coming in on the Seward Highway, O'Malley Road is the third Anchorage exit.  Follow the directions above.
